 Early June 2011. A few years ago, I saw this purple butterfly bush in full bloom at Cliffrose Garden Center and had to have one of my own. The bush is quite hardy having survived a couple of really harsh winters. I had to cut it back a lot two years ago after it was crushed by the snow. Now it is almost 5 feet tall, and for a short window of time in June, totally gorgeous! |
