Our Story

XTROV has proudly served Montezuma and Dolores Counties since August 2011. What began as a small, 888-square-foot office on North Broadway in Cortez, Colorado, has grown into a trusted real estate and property management company built around relationships, experience, and a genuine commitment to the communities we serve.

From the beginning, our focus has remained the same: residential real estate, property management, and rental services — all delivered with honesty, personal attention, and a commitment to doing things the right way.

Our earliest and original home was on North Broadway until  June 2016 when the opportunity arose of the iconic former Wilber Floral building at the intersection of historic Montezuma Avenue and Harrison Street. Xtrov was honored to carry on this building and keep it active in Montezuma County.

 

A New Chapter

In 2023, XTROV entered an exciting new chapter when the business was purchased by Cody Wells, Andi Hill, and Kayla Koskie. Together, they brought a shared vision for the future of XTROV — focused on growth, exceptional service, strong community relationships, and creating a company where both property owners and tenants feel valued.

With new ownership came new ideas, new opportunities, and a renewed commitment to building something to serve our community for generations to come.

In 2025, we took another major step forward when we purchased the former Tulis Chiropractic building at 15 E. 1st Street in Cortez, Colorado. What was once a chiropractic office was transformed through extensive remodeling into the official home of XTROV.

Today, 15 E. 1st Street is more than an office — it represents the continued growth, hard work, and vision behind XTROV.
